VR3 Monitoring Receivers

The VR3 family represents an enhancement to VEMCO’s popular VR2 Monitoring Receiver of which thousands are installed worldwide. The primary motivation of the VR3 is to facilitate the recovery of data from the unit by providing a remote communication capability by means such as satellite, underwater modem, cell phone, underwater wired observatory, etc. In addition a number of other enhancements are offered including significantly enhanced computing power and memory capacity, two channel receiver and field upgradeable software. The VR3 family is capable of unattended deployments exceeding 12 months.

The VR3 Receiver is currently available in two models:

• VR3 Receiver with Underwater Modem (VR3-UWM)
• VR3 Receiver using ARGOS Satellite with GPS Positioning (VR3-ARGOS)
