VEMCO on the Road

VEMCO exhibited at the 53rd Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research which was held in Toronto, Ontario from May 17th to May 21st. The conference focused on how far research science in the Great Lakes and large lakes around the world has come over the decades, highlighting the science and policy research that has helped to improve and protect some aspects of the Great Lakes. Denise King, Director of Market Development at VEMCO also conducted a workshop on VEMCO's underwater acoustic telemetry techology and equipment.

VEMCO will be exhibiting and conducting an acoustic telemetry workshop at the American Fisheries Society Annual General Meeting (AFS AGM) being held from September 12th to September 16th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The workshop is scheduled for Sunday, September 12th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. For more information, visit the AFS AGM 2010 website.

VEMCO is also tentatively booked to conduct a half day acoustic telemetry workshop on Sunday, September 12th immediately following the Fish Sampling with Active Methods (FSAM) 2010 Conference being held in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, September 8th to 11th. The workshop also precedes the Dynamics of Inland Fish and Fisheries (DINFISH) 2010 meeting scheduled for September 13th to 16th. For more information, visit the FSAM 2010 website.
