VEMCO would like to inform all members of the marine biology and research community who use our acoustic telemetry equipment about a very unique and exciting opportunity. Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia has an outstanding record of research excellence and is currently inviting applications, nominations and expressions of interest in the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Ocean Science and Technology. The university is seeking candidates with exceptional records of scientific achievement, leadership and internationally-renowned research programs. The CERC in Ocean Science and Technology would assume a senior leadership role in the growth of ocean science and technology at Dalhousie University in support of existing strengths in oceans research.
