Shoes for Souls
Recently, VEMCO employee Catherine Mitchell spearheaded a drive at the office, known as Shoes for Souls, to collect shoes for distribution to needy people in Africa and Haiti.

Many of these people must walk around bare-footed and run the risk of getting cuts on their feet which can get infected, often leading to the development of other life threatening illnesses.

The Shoes for Souls drive at VEMCO resulted in the collection of 125 pairs of shoes! Thanks to all staff members who contributed and a special thanks to Catherine for all her work in making the drive so successful.

Feed Nova Scotia
VEMCO employees joined together just before Christmas to provide food and cash donations for needy families throughout Nova Scotia. Over $500 was collected and 50+ kilograms of food was donated. Thanks to all employees for their generosity!
