False Detections: What They Are and How to Remove Them from Detection Data This Application Note shows how false detections (i.e. a detection of a transmitter code that isn’t actually present) can occur in the field and how you can identify them. Download this Application Note.
Detection Performance of Lines of VR2W/VR3 Receivers
The detection range of a receiver is highly dependent on noise levels. As well, wave bending produced by temperature gradients and other effects can impact range for some signal paths. All of these factors can vary significantly from one location to another and with time in a particular location. This needs to be taken into account when installing a line of receivers with the objective of detecting all passing fish. Download this Application Note.
